Mudra Jurnal Seni Budaya uses an online submission system and rigorous double-blind peer review process.
Peer Review Policy & Screening
Jurnal Mudra utilizes a strict Double-Blind Peer Review process. The identities of both authors and reviewers are completely concealed from one another throughout evaluation to ensure objectivity, eliminate bias, and prevent conflicts of interest.
| • Independent Evaluation: Articles are typically reviewed by at least two independent expert reviewers. |
| • Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and reference quality. |
| • Plagiarism Threshold: Submissions must maintain an overall similarity score of no more than 15%, with no single source exceeding 3% in the main text. |
| • Confidentiality: The Editorial Board protects the strict confidentiality of all submitted materials and reviewer communications. |

DECLINE SUBMISSION
The manuscript is not acceptable for publication in Mudra Jurnal Seni Budaya, and resubmission is not permitted. RESUBMIT FOR REVIEW
Requires major revisions but shows potential. Authors may submit a new version as a new submission, which will be returned to the original associate editor when possible. |
REVISION
Requires changes based on referee comments within 2 weeks, accompanied by a point-by-point response letter. May undergo further review rounds. ACCEPT SUBMISSION
Accepted for publication subject to minor final edits, sub-editing formatting, and final checking by the editorial office. |
Galley Proofs & Final Author Responsibilities
Page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final verification. Proof corrections must strictly be restricted to printer/typesetting errors; substantive text changes may be charged to the author.
