Libraries store local copies and collaboratively audit content integrity to prevent deletion or corruption. |
DARK ARCHIVE
CLOCKSS SystemParticipates in the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) fail-safe archiving initiative. • Purpose:
Acts as a fail-safe trigger in the event of permanent journal publication failure. • Mechanism:
Permanently stored on secure servers; activated for open public access under Creative Commons if a trigger event occurs. |
