This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The informant in this study is Oktavian Aditya who serves as the producer of Sako Serikat. Data collection techniques include interviews and observation, while data analysis is carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. This research applies Everett Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovations theory as an analytical framework for examining the distribution process via SoundOn.The results of this study indicate that SoundOn offers several advantages that support the needs of emerging artists and new labels. Users can easily create either an artist account or a label account, accompanied by a simple distribution process without the need for third-party involvement. SoundOn also provides a complete and user-friendly analytics interface, allowing artists to effectively monitor the progress of their tracks. In addition, all generated royalties are given 100% to the artist, with the opportunity to earn additional royalties from the use of their music on CapCut. Sako Serikat is one of the music groups from Bandar Lampung that utilizes SoundOn as their digital distribution platform.
